Hello! My name is Kevin.
I am a research lead and software engineer at the ULRI Digital Safety Research Institute.
There, I work on methods and software for AI incident reporting, in-situ human-AI evaluation, and other technical AI governance issues. I am also interested in digital privacy, knowledge graph tooling, and the semantic web; and help maintain the AI Incident Database.
Previously, I was a policy consultant at the OECD AI Unit and conducted HCI research at MIT IPRI on digital privacy behaviors for large social platforms. Before that, I was a software engineer at Google in both the US and EU, where I worked on accessible cultural exhibitions at Google Arts & Culture and virtual networking infrastructure at Google Cloud.
I also like to backpack, cook, and learn new languages well enough to share a laugh.
Please reach out if you would like to collaborate, learn more about my work, or just say hello.
